Build Your Twitter Following

We talk to a lot of eCommerce merchants who have Twitter accounts but are at a loss as to how they can build their following.  

One tool that helps attract more loyal readers is to post your tweets on your web store.  Having a regular Twitter feed there also helps you keep your store fresh with new content.

Good tips for integrating twitter, my advice to clients isn't to use twitter to JUST sell, sell, sell, but to use it to engage with their customers and visitors.

Talk about the world/niche you are in, talk about things that you and visitors would be interested in, even if that takes them off your site to read it.

They will remember you and bookmark you, they will then come back and buy that one thing they just realized that they needed because you were a source of good information.
