Photos Sell Products on Pinterest
Many eCommerce merchants have already embraced Facebook and Twitter as online marketing necessities. Now, they may also want to start a page on Pinterest, the picture and video sharing social media website.
A recent survey says that more than 30 percent of online shoppers who know about Pinterest or similar picture-sharing websites make a purchase after seeing a product on those sites.
Practical eCommerce had some good tips on how to use Pinterest to promote your store and products:
The lessons from all of this data may include (1) that merchants should be on Pinterest and similar sites pinning products and repinning posts from others; (2) online stores should make pinning product images as easy as possible; and (3) affiliate programs should facilitate pinning for profit.

I wouldn't be surprised if many people, especially online shopping enthusiasts, are now embracing Pinterest because of its easy photo-sharing feature. And like other similar sites, it can be also a great tool for people, who want to get connected with those having the same interests, just by liking and commenting on their pictures. That's why food-lovers, fashionistas and bookworms are their target audience.

I wouldn't be amazed if many individuals, especially internet purchasing lovers, are now adopting Pinterest because of its simple photo-sharing function.
