We were inspired by the variety of sharing buttons on Hibiscus Sunglasses’ blog. But actually, instead of using free sharing button services, Hibiscus’ SEO consultant Alex Kah of Question-Defense.com uses Pretty Link Pro. Even though it’s a paid WordPress plugin ($37 for one site/$97 for multiple sites), Kah says it’s “well worth it” for its "SEO-friendly functions." And we all know search engine optimization can make or break a web store.

Thanks to one of our readers for recommending Zemanta in a recent comment. We'd never checked it out in earnest before, and after "Zemifying" this post, we've discovered that it's a pretty cool tool.
Zemanta analyzes blogs and other user-generated content to suggest tags, links, images, and related articles. The suggestions come up as you type, which saves you time inputting the tags and links yourself. You choose which recommendations you want to accept. And if you want to enhance your blog with an image (like the one we chose to the right), all you have to do is drag and drop.
