ProStores v10 Page Builder & Promotions Overview
The Page Builder & Promotions Overview Video highlights two of our most exciting ProStores 10 features. These tools will allow you to enhance and modify your store design without custom coding, to maximize exposure of valuable promotions and most importantly show you ways to increase sales conversion.
With Page Builder, you can drag and drop panels to revamp page layouts, and create automatically displayed advertising banners tied to scheduled store promotions.
We’ve also added a new store theme with horizontal category navigation – a popular request from many merchants.
Google Base Setup Instructions Video
ProStores provides an automated product feed integration with Google Base (which feeds Google Product Search).
By default, all new ProStores stores come with a product feed to Google Base that does not require an account.
ProStores also provides a Google Base product feed that works with your personalized account at Google Base. Having an account at Google Base allows you to review specific analytics about your product feed that can help you improve your product feed and drive more traffic to your store.
We recommend that you set-up a Google Base account as soon as you have the opportunity to configure the feed. This video will walk you through the process of creating your account, and connecting the product feed.

Merchandising Tools
Here are two simple merchandising tools that are built into ProStores that can help you drive customer interest and may help boost your average order size.
- Featured Products: designate up to five featured products and feature them on your Home page – just turn on the Featured Product setting for the products you want to feature and select one of the Featured Products Home page layouts in Design Settings.
- Related Products: If you have a ProStores Advanced tier store, you can also set up Related Products. For instance, if you sell printers, be sure to display paper, ink, and other supplies with your printers.
Promotions
ProStores also has a number of built-in promotions that allow you to offer discounts and other incentives to returning customers or attract new ones.
For example, you can advertise a special discount with a promotion code in an email to existing customers or in an ad in a local magazine, and those customers who enter the promotion code during checkout on your store will receive a predefined discount off the entire order.
Below are the store promotions you can set up – they will vary based on the ProStores store tier you have.
- Gift Wrap: specialized gift wrap promotion that can be offered in addition to the storewide gift wrap option. In order to use this promotion, you must enable the gift wrap options on the main Promotions page.
- Highest/Lowest Price: applies a discount on either the lowest or highest priced item in the order.
- Manufacturer: applies a discount based on the manufacturer assigned to an item.
- Order Minimum/Maximum: applies a discount based on the order total meeting a specified minimum or maximum amount.
- Storewide Sale: applies a discount to all product in the store.
- Payment Method: applies a discount based on the selected payment method.
- Shipping: applies a discount to the shipping costs based on the selected ship method. This promotion may be used with any shipper.
And here are Product Promotions you can set up.
- Product Sales: puts a specific product on sale.
- Quantity Discount: applies a discount based on the quantity of an item purchased.
